In India, unfortunately, approximately 60 million children in the age group of 6 to 4 years have never seen schools, and almost 15 million children are forced to work as labourers. Children born in slums never get an opportunity to study, instead they receive training for petty other criminal activities, or they keep working as labourer throughout their lives. The society is responsible for depriving them of their innocence and childhood.
I am concerned and believe; you can make a difference and bring back the smiles.
Allow me to speak to you about our ambitious initiative, Jhuggi Jhopadi Shiksha Sewa Mission. We have 400 plus children from slum dwellings at our school in Ghaziabad that are nurtured with love & meditation from childhood and imparted world class education. Besides FREE school education, we also provide high quality fooding and lodging facilities and medical care along with an inspiring spiritual environ for their upbringing. Under Jhuggi Jhopadi Shiksha Sewa Mission, we have now 8 schools in operation at Ghaziabad, Bulundshar, Unnao, Kota, etc. Work is under process at Mumbai to start a University dedicated for students from slum dwellings. I feel proud and elated to view some of these students perform so well in all disciplines of schooling.
My vision is to extend this sewa to every such single child, all over India. Towards this, I seek your invaluable contribution. It is not the size that will matter; it is your heartfelt participation and support that will certainly bring back the radiance in their lives. I wish you to offer these helpless kids your hand and make them capable of standing on their own.
